Drug researched at Wayne State target multiple sclerosis

A drug developed at Wayne State University to target multiple sclerosis, a condition that strikes more people in Michigan than any other state, besides New York and California, has drawn national attention. The drug, Tysabri, is not a cure but it is believed to dramatically reduce relapses by blocking destructive immune cells in MS patients.
